Updating Icons problem

after installing QCAD, the "Updating Icons" update started and got stuck (it wouldn't finish even after 15 minutes). After forcequit and restarting, the situation repeats. The same after reinstalling. MacBook M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.7.1
